What we collect, and what we don't.

The short version

We're a two-person mobile mechanic shop. We collect what we need to call you back and fix your vehicle, and nothing else. We have never sold anyone's information and we aren't going to — there is no version of this business where that makes sense.

When you use the contact form

The form asks for your name, email, phone number, which service you need, and a message. When you submit it, two things happen: the details are emailed to us, and a text alert goes to our phones so we see it quickly.

That email is handled by Faivelo, our email provider, and the text alert by Quo, our phone provider. Both are processing it on our behalf to deliver a message to us.

The form is also protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission is coming from a person rather than a bot. It looks at signals from your browser to make that call. It is not an advertising tool, and we receive nothing from it beyond pass or fail.

When you book an appointment

Booking runs on Square Appointments. When you book, you are entering your details into Square's system rather than ours, and Square's own privacy terms cover what they do with it. We see what you would expect us to see — your name, contact details, the service, and where and when to meet you.

What gets collected automatically

Microsoft Clarity. We use Clarity to see how people actually move through this site — which pages get read, where people give up, whether a button is being missed. It records page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and can replay a visit as a rough silent screen recording.

Text typed into form fields is masked before it leaves your browser, so a replay shows that a field was filled in, not what was put in it. We use Clarity to fix a confusing page, not to look up individuals.

Google Analytics. We use GA4 to see how many people visit, which pages they land on, and whether they found us through a search, a map listing or a link from somewhere else. It is counting and grouping visits so we know what is working — it does not tell us who you are.

Cloudflare. This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which delivers the pages, blocks abuse, and rate-limits the contact form so it cannot be flooded. That involves processing your IP address and basic request details. Cloudflare's privacy-focused analytics also give us aggregate page view counts with no cross-site tracking.

Cookies

Clarity and Google Analytics set cookies so a visit hangs together as one session rather than looking like a stranger on every page. Cloudflare sets cookies for security and bot detection. We run no advertising cookies, and nothing here follows you to other websites.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your information, and we don't rent or trade it.
• We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We don't send marketing you didn't ask for. If you contact us about a job, we reply about that job.
• We don't collect payment card details on this website. Payment is handled by Square.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages and booking records stay in our email, phone and Square accounts as ordinary business records — we need them to do the work, invoice it, and answer a question about it later. Clarity and Google Analytics hold their data on Microsoft's and Google's own retention schedules, which are measured in months rather than years.

If you want us to delete what we hold about you, ask and we will.

Your choices

You can opt out of Clarity through Microsoft's opt-out page, and out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out add-on. Any content blocker stops both, and the site is fully usable either way. You can also skip the website entirely and call us; a phone call leaves no analytics trail at all.

If you would rather not type anything into a website, that is a completely reasonable position, and the phone number is at the top of every page.

Kids

This site is for people arranging vehicle repairs and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes to this page

If we add a tool that collects something new, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We are not going to quietly add tracking and leave this page stale.
